1. Change of Scene
Take some time off and go someplace new. Do it alone. Solitude will help bring your thoughts in order and focus on issues that really concern you and only you. Being gone from the home city will leave trivial problems there and channel your mind to the important stuff.
2. Keep or build up your fitness
Healthy body – healthy mind. Reaching new goals not only is crucial in job matters but also in terms of your body. The amount of endorphins being produced during sports is incredibly high.
3. Rewrite your history
Past – it is just a story we keep retelling to ourselves. Try to verbalise your anxieties and troubles in order to be able to analyse them properly. Why this and that happened the way it did? At the same time focus on your strengths and don’t let your past weaknesses predict your future. Move forward and only forward. Past is there to learn and not to be an anchor.
4. Meet new people
The positive effect that accompanies the process of making new friends is phenomenal. Sometimes the best way to overcome bad relationships with people is to rise in new relationships.
Our thinking and behaving is also formed by the surroundings. Try to be surrounded by people who bring you up and don’t drag you down.
5. Take care of yourself
When we feel sick we don’t go to work and we take medicine. Emotional being sick is just as important as „regular“ sickness. When feeling bad, one should take off and take „soul medicine“.
6. Leave everything bad behind
You know what the good thing about bad happenings is? You finally have the possibility and the excuse to end things. Whether it is an unthankful job or relationship. Now you have all the means to end it and start anew.
